Spring BBQ Pot Roast
Pork is such an important protein in many cuisines including the diverse gastrosphere of Appalachia. Spring is a great time to get good sales and stock up the freezer for BBQ season!

Ingredients
2-3 Pork Tenderloin Roast (boneless is easier)
1/2 cup of Honey
1 jar Carolina-style BBQ sauce
2 tsp. Dry Ginger
2 tsp. Dry Mustard
1 tsp. Dry Turmeric (optional)
1 tsp. Dry or Fresh Lemon Peel
*salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
Mix all ingredients together well, except roast.

Place roast into crock pot and completely cover with sauce mixture.

Cover and cook on HIGH for 4 hours or LOW for 6-8 hours.
​
Shred roast and serve over buns or however you most enjoy your BBQ pork!
